Horses for Sale

Coco Drama “Marge”

Sold!

Coco Drama – AKA “Marge” – is a 5yo AQHA Appendix dark bay mare.  She is approximately 16.1H, thick, and gorgeous.  Her grandparents on her bottom side are First Down Dash and Corona Chick.  On her top side, she is by Big Drama, a thoroughbred who won over $2.7 million in his racing career.  Marge raced twice in her 2yo year and retired sound off the track.  Prior to coming to Twice Baked she was restarted in western tack and put on cows and ridden by kids.

Although she has only been on the barrels since February of 2025, she has already shown great promise and is currently running in the 2D/3D locally and 3D/4D at super shows.  She has been hauled to and run at one rodeo.  Nothing phases this mare – she has the potential to be 1D with the right rider and more time on the pattern, but she would also be happy to go along with an advanced beginner or youth.  She is the type you can run yourself in the Open and then throw your kid on for the youth and she’ll take care of them and be calm as can be.  She is an easy keeper with strong QH (not TB) feet and has stayed sound running and working barefoot.  Marge sells having been vetted sound and having had a course of Adequan as well as treated (preventively only) for EPM and ulcers.  She is UTD on all vaccines, teeth, and chiropractic care.   If TBBH was in the business of breeding right now, she wouldn’t be going anywhere, but we’re full up on youngins and she has the best brain of them all, so she’s the one who goes!  She is priced in the low Xx,xxx.

Corona Prep”Doug”

Sold!

Corona Pep – AKA “Doug” – is an 8yo AQHA light bay gelding. He is approximately 14.3H and built like a Sherman Tank! His papers sport legends like Shazoom, Peppy San Badger, and he is a grandson of Corona Cartel. He is a 100% free runner and is FAST. He is not for a beginner. He has been trained and run on barrels inconsistently for the last year and a half, but knows the job and easily will be a 1D horse when he finds his person. His is priced in the mid X,xxx.

Doug hasn’t had the best go of it in life – Twice Baked doesn’t know how many homes he’s had, only that he came with some true red flag disclaimers and some obvious trauma from abuse. His history as told to us involves being a steer wrestling horse as well as possibly also tie-down roping. When purchased in November of 2024, he was a consistent bucker and known to bolt on mount and dismount. Since coming to TBBHs, he has been a solid citizen on trail rides and hauling to barrel races. He has been worked with and trained to overcome his bolting issues. He hauls and stalls well, eats and drinks on the road, and is an upstanding gentleman for the farrier, vet, and dentist.

Doug has been restarted on the barrels and is ready to go on with his person. He is very selective in the humans he trusts, likely due to his past trauma and abuse. He has bucked once in the time that TBBH has had him, and it was not a simple crow hop, but it wasn’t a full out bronc fest either. Suspected reasons for this incident will be discussed with serious potential buyers. His price is reflective of this incident. Doug sells having been vetted sound and having had a course of Adequan as well as treated (preventively only) for EPM and ulcers.

Dry Peppys Boonlite “Wayne”

Sold!

2019 Sorrel Gelding – By Docs Boonlite Dancer (grandson of Peptoboonsmal) out of Tenino Dry Peppy.

We’ve had Wayne on his second baking for a few years and though Allison has had tremendous success with him, we’re ready to move him along to his next owner for a third (might require a fourth) baking. He sells guaranteed sound and sane as a pasture pet or for at liberty training/work. If breeding and pure athleticism were all it took to be a great barrel horse, we wouldn’t be moving him along. Purchase as a project barrel horse at your own risk.

Wayne in the Round Pen

Pros: Very good ground manners, excellent in the round pen, good for trims for the farrier and vet work, rocking chair lope and comfortable at all gaits.

Cons: Climb on his back at your own risk. We believe in full disclosure and honesty at Twice Baked and the truth about Wayne is that he is a known bronc. Allison has had him for over three years and in that time he’s bucked her off about twice a year. They are not small bucks. He will lawn dart you unless you’re Stetson Wright or Rocker Steiner. He is priced accordingly and with regard to his excellent breeding and otherwise lovely disposition.

Text or Call Allison at (240)-739-9293 to get his price and set up an appointment to come try him!
